Tim Werley is now available to do calibration and instrument repair for gas detection equipment. One area that Tim has been doing a lot of work in lately - is calibrating and servicing refrigerant monitors. For instance, on the MSA Chillgard RT, the measuring portion (optical bench) can become contaminated by dirt and moisture. Often when this happens - a calibration will fail, or the instrument fails to fully acheive the span gas value - these are good indications that you need Tim's service help!
The above picture shows the main internal board for a MSA Chillgard RT.
The below picture shows the IR bench assembly. Notice how the lens (circle in the middle) has two different colors. Tim has cleaned one half of the lens! Yes, it gets that dirty!
