KU4 area of Rohm and Haas, Louisville, Kentucky has standardized on the Satron PASVE instrumentation for tank level measurement. The level transmitter can be removed very quickly for cleaning and evaluation. The tanks are in service on a continuous basis.
Sumco has successfully installed a Honeywell wireless transmitter system. The Honeywell wireless transmits the pH signal from a Honeywell UDA2182 back to the main plant for recording. It would have been difficult to run wires and cables back to the main plant from the pH hut at a remote section of the plant.
Seelaus Instrument Company is providing a number of MSA carbon dioxide (CO2) monitors to several companies this year. General Foods (Pillsbury) in Louisville, KY area purchased 8 CO2 monitors. Kimberly Clark in Owensboro, KY has also purchased CO2 monitors.
